A day of ancient wonders awaits as you explore Luxor’s greatest monuments.
Begin at the immense Karnak Temple Complex, walking through its grand pylons and the Avenue of Ram-headed Sphinxes into the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive sandstone columns. Admire the carved hieroglyphs and reliefs, visit the Sacred Lake, and explore the chapels and statues.
After lunch, cross to the West Bank and enter the Valley of the Kings. You’ll visit three royal tombs and see the vivid paintings and hieroglyphic texts on their walls.
Next, see the Colossi of Memnon, two towering seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that once guarded the entrance to his enormous mortuary temple.
Your final stop is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built on three rising terraces against the cliffs, with colonnades, statues, and reliefs of her expedition to Punt and her divine birth.
The day concludes around 15:00 as you return to Hurghada.
