What to expect
Your guide leads an easy city tour, shares the story of this modern Red Sea town and answers your questions. Entry to the High Tower is included: climb up, look over the canals and low-rise architecture, and take photos. Then sail for about one hour by felucca on the calm lagoons that link the islands.
An Egyptian lunch is included at a local restaurant. Afterwards, continue by tuk-tuk, with time to shop for handmade souvenirs at El Bait El Masry and browse marina boutiques. The walk back through Abu Tig Marina passes yachts, cafés and waterfront promenades before the afternoon return. The tour lasts about six hours, is family-friendly and not wheelchair accessible. Bring a hat, sunglasses, lightweight clothes, some Egyptian pounds and your camera.
