Ostrog Monastery was built in the 17th century. It was founded by the Herzegovinian metropolitan Vasily, who was buried there in 1671, and later canonized. St. Vasily Ostroški is known as the Saints Wonderman. Believers of all religions from different parts of the world visit this monastery in large numbers, and for the citizens of Montenegro, it is the greatest sanctuary.
