    Jambo! you will be met by Classic Journeys Africa Customer Care Representative at Hotel/airport who will brief you on your program ahead and transfer you to Wilson Airport where you will board your flight to Masai Mara. Your driver guide for the entire trip will be waiting for you at Olkiombo airstrip as you land. Drop off at your spectacular cam where you will relax and familiarize with the place and later have lunch. You will then spend the afternoon in a game drive till dusk when you return to your camp.

    After your breakfast, Spend the entire day exploring the reserve in search of the wildlife. There is much to see including rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, jackal, lion, many types of antelope, crocodile and giraffe as well as numerous birds with over 450 species recorded here. Whether you are an animal lover or an ornithologist, the Masai Mara never disappoints. A picnic lunch is served in the reserve along the banks of Mara River. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. For an extra fee get the chance to visit the Masai Villages and interact with the locals as you get to learn their way of life and join in their dances.

    Spend yet another full day enjoying the great Masai Mara National Reserve. A Sun downer cocktail will help you unwind in front of a cozy campfire under the African stars with all its sounds of nature. The camp is fully solar powered, but a generator (well tucked away to ensure that there is no noise pollution) is available to provide power in order to charge all cameras & equipment. Mara bush camp is not fenced, therefore Maasai ‘Moranis’ (warriors) will look out for your safety while you are sleeping. Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon at an extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

    You will have leisurely breakfast before you bid farewell to the Masai Mara as you set on your journey back to Nairobi. Fly above the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha on the way. Have a farewell lunch courtesy of Classic Journeys at the famous finger liking Carnivore Restaurant as you enjoy a variety of meat. Have last minute shopping.
