This experience offers a unique and extraordinary opportunity for anyone who wants to approach the world of horses even without previous experience and enjoy an unforgettable day in the open air. The only comprehensive two-hour experience that offers a perfect mix of awareness, education and adventure. The first part of the training will allow you to acquire fundamental knowledge on horse management, while the second will take you on an evocative walk through breathtaking landscapes. Designed specifically for beginners and those who don't usually ride horses, it is the result of years of experience in the world of country riding and equestrian tourism. At the end of the experience you will be able to manage the horse independently like a true rider or rider and you will have visited one of the most beautiful valleys in Tuscany!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
shuttle service: pick-up of participants directly from the hotel or city or meeting point. Cost to always be agreed separately based on distance.
1. Always arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to complete the paperwork. 2. Once in Calci, follow the signs for the Certosa di Calci. 3. Leave the car after the San Vito farm, in front of "la Certosa furniture factory" (Certosa car park) and cross the road on foot
What to expect
Field lesson to learn basic commands and become familiar with the horse
test route accompanied by our staff on the ground outside the riding area.
Aperitif
The route passes through the woods, the stream ford and arrives under the Upezzinghi tower in the town of Caprona. From here it goes up an ancient path that leads to the abandoned convent of Nicosia and finally to the Certosa di Calci to return to the riding school on a circular route.
Upon returning you will find an aperitif in the riding stables.
