Formerly the political center of Pisa and a masterpiece of the architect Vasari. We will admire the intricate "sgraffito" facade of the Scuola Normale and discuss the chilling legend of the "Hunger Tower" mentioned by Dante. 4Leaning Tower of Pisa
The grand finale. We emerge from the narrow medieval streets into the stunning expanse of the Square of Miracles. You will see the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, and the Cathedral. I will show you the best angles for photos away from the crowds and explain the engineering mystery of the tower’s tilt, leaving you perfectly placed to explore the monuments at your own pace.
