We’ll kick things off near Center City at Federal Donuts, a local Philadelphia favorite with both specialty donuts and hot and fresh daily specials. From there, we’ll visit a vibrant mochi donut shop, featuring global flavors like matcha, ube, and black sesame, each bite offering a chewy twist on a classic treat. Next, we’ll balance out the sweetness with a Philadelphia staple, the hot and fresh soft pretzel, a savory icon baked to perfection. Finally, we’ll head to the legendary Reading Terminal Market to visit Beiler’s Donuts, where handmade donuts are fried, filled, and glazed right before your eyes. This tour blends culture, flavor, and history into one unforgettable experience, showcasing the city’s best bakeries and its love for all things delicious.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The first stop on the donut tour is Federal Donuts at 21 S 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Keep a look out for one of our guides. They will most likely be wearing an Underground Donut Tour t-shirt or sweatshirt.
The tour on Friday and Saturday ends at Beilers Donuts at Reading Market. We'll sample donuts here, but there are a number of other food stalls/vendors if you want to grab lunch or go shopping afterward.
