The first of some beautiful fishing villages! People use to be here since prehistoric times. The soft limestone is the ideal material to create a cave house.
A long strip of multi-coloured traditional fishermen houses, known as “syrmatas” lie along Milos Bay. The village is divided in half by the only seaside restaurant. The houses were initially painted different colours so they're easily recognisable by their owners.
Fourkovouni is the small hill on the entrance of Adamas Bay. Here we start with real stories about pirates. This is the hill they use to hang the pirates and from there is the name Fourkovouni.
Cape Vani is one of the most striking landmarks of the island of Milos. Take your time and enjoy the multicoloured rock formation, red yellow orange green and gray. Old manganese mining and one of the most beautiful spots.
