I will pick you up from any hotel in Cairo and Giza
I will pick you up from your hotel, start your private Cairo day tours to visit the Pyramids of Giza. You will listen to a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. Then, enjoy free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), though your guide is not permitted to enter with you. And then, proceed to visit the Valley temple of Chephren. You will find that you standing in front of the great sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head.
Proceed to Memphis, located 20 km south of Cairo. Memphis was the first capital of Egypt. According to legend related by Manetho, the city was founded by the pharaoh Menes around 3000 B.C. Today, there is little left of the city, but you will be able to visit an open-air museum that offers a variety of interesting artifacts; like the huge statue of Ramses II and the sphinx.
Continue to visit Saqqara, the name given to the extensive ancient burial ground in Egypt, the necropolis of the ancient capital Memphis. It is home to the famous step pyramid of king Djoser and the burial place of the pyramid’s architect Imhotep. Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.
Start the day with Khaled. You will be escorted by your private tour guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummy’s room at the museum
then moving to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside.
I will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. And accompany you to visit Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, founded by Alexander the great in 332 B.C. On arrival, start to visit the catacombs of Kom El-Shuqqafa. It is a necropolis of 3 sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD. The catacombs merge aspects of the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman culture in its features.
You will also proceed to visit the Pompey’s pillar, one of the largest monolithic columns ever erected; it is a single piece of Aswan red granite.
And then, continue to visit Alexandria library, the new library building was designed by the Norwegian house. It is a striking piece of modern design that stands in contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt. Moreover, you will have free time to enter the library though local guide will show you the library inside.
I will pick you up from your hotel followed by a drive, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Cairo. From here you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including: The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo's oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims.
We will enjoy Lunch in a local restaurant in Cairo and then proceed to Alazahr Mosque and The Islamic Cairo area includes Sultan Hassan Refaee Mosques and finally we will visit Almoaz Street where you will find yourself among a lot of mosques and Madrasas. At the end of your day you will be driven to your hotel in Cairo.
