Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the 8th wonder of the world.

1Maasai Mara National Reserve
Start your 3-day adventure with an early pickup from your accommodation within Nairobi or airport. The safari begins at 7 a.m. from your Nairobi Hotel. If you arrive on a morning flight, we will be able to pick you up at the airport . On your way, you will stop at a view point where you will get a chance to view the Great Rift Valley escarpment and also spot Mt. Longonot, which used to be active but now is dormant. Proceed on the 3-hour drive to the town of Narok, where you will stop for a 15-minute fuel and bathroom break. Upon arrival to Masai Mara National Reserve, you will see vast vegetation and also spot some animals like the zebra, giraffe, topi and Thompson gazelle, among many others. You will arrive at the Lodge. and the staff will brief you about your stay. Lunch will be served at the lodge and later you will do the evening game drives, after which you can settle in for dinner and then sleep.

2Mara River
Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty .There are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sitted at the banks of Mara river. An Optional balloon safari at a discounted USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.
