    Day 1

    Nairobi to Maasai mara

    At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be at the arrival at the camp. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at lenchada Tourist camp

    Rift Valley Province

    You will make a scheduled stop at the view point on the side of the escarpment to enjoy the view of the Rift valley floor from a birds eye view. The rift valley system was formed 5 million years ago and the rift runs from the red sea through Ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania. The rift valley is an active volcanic area and has some of the most interesting features including more than 8 lakes, dormant and active volcanic mountains and hotsprings and geysers like the Olkaria geothermal wells and Lake Bogoria geysers. You can actually see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot from this high place with their evergreen craters and the undulating green rift valley floor. The view from here is just amazing. Make sure to take as many photos from here as you can.

    Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

    Mara River

    Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve. This day we will go all the way to mara river which is the site of the great wilderbeest migration. There lots of hippos and crocodiles basking in the sun as other animals come for a drink. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour . Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. A balloon safari at a discounted USD 380 per person can  be organised early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program.

    Full Day in Maasai Mara.

    Breakfast, then leave for a full day game drive in Maasai Mara. This day we will be covering the other Vast areas that were not covered on the previous day , as we have a more relaxed game drive. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the 7th wonder of the world

    Depart Maasai Mara to Nairobi

    Early morning breakfast then checkout. Thereafter commence drive back to Nairobi. This is the general area of the accomodation in maasai mara and we will be able to visit the local tribe to learn more about their culture and lifesytle at an extra cost of $20 After that you leave for Nairobi. On arrival you will be dropped at your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD. This marks the end of the tour.
