    A wine tour for families and friends combined with the unique mythology and history of Nemea. The region Nemea, famous for its indigenous grape variety Agiorgitiko, is only a short ride of little more than 1h from the centre of Athens away.

    First stop is at the archaeological site of Nemea with the temple of Zeus and the ancient stadium. You will be introduced to the long history of Nemea and the importance of the Nemean games. Nemea is also the place where the hero Hercules had to accomplish his first labour and slayed the Nemean lion.

    The tour continues with a visit at a boutique winery where you meet the wine makers or oenologist showing you their passion for their work and taste wines from the most important Greek grape varieties.
