In our opinion the best fishing village around. an old fishing village and away from the masses. Former stinky town because of many smokehouses.

Or instead of Monnickendam we go to Volendam (its your choice) is one of the top destinations in Holland. The main attraction of Volendam is the old sea dike, a long stretch of colorfully painted houses with eateries, cafes and restaurants.
