The Dahabeya boat sails between Aswan and Luxor cities where you will have the opportunity of taking amazing pictures of the incredible nature of the surrounding islands.
We contact our travelers a day before the trip starts and meet them at a meeting point in the downtown area of Aswan city.
After the check in on board of the Dahabeya and being welcomed by our crew with the traditional welcome drink, the boat starts sailing toward the north to stop at one of the most beautiful Ptolemaic temples in Egypt. It was built for the worshipping of the crocodile God Sobek that was raised sinks inside the temple as one of the symbols of strength and power in ancient Egypt.
After lunch, we start the next adventure to the most famous sandstone quarry in Egypt. This site started in the time of king Horemoheb in 18th Dynasty. It's shrines are beautifully carved and painted. Back to the boat, dinner and overnight on board.
After breakfast, the boat sails toward the north to Edfu town, where the best preserved temple in Egypt is located. It was built dedicated to the God Horus in the Ptolemaic period on top of earlier temples. We take a horse carriage to the site and enjoy the town vibes. Back to the boat for lunch, sailing toward Esna town the south of Luxor, and overnight on board.
