    Cave Church

    There are a lot of hidden treasures in Egypt that tourists never know about. Among these, there is the magnificent Cave Church Simon Church or Samaan el Kharaz Monastery in Arabic in the Mokattam Mountain. Simon the Tanner was a craftsman saint who lived during the 10th century and the cave church was dedicated to him. There are seven cave churches carved into the nearby Moqattam Mountain. The Monastery of St. Pickup from your hotel, then met by your guide who will accompany you by car with air conditioning to: Cave Church Simon Simon the Tanner is the largest. This church was named AFTER the Virgin Mary and ST. Simon the Tanner, in commemoration of the miracle of transferring the Moqattam Hill is why Moqattam is called Miracle Mountain.
