    Peles Castle

    Early in the morning you will leave Bucharest behind and head north to get in the Carpathian Mountains. Your first stop of the day is Peles Castle. This is an overwhelming site built by the first Romanian king, Carol I. In this fairy-tale location you will learn more about Monarchy in Romania and its heritage. You will discover all the wonders of this beautiful palace which seems frozen in time.

    Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)

    Next, push further north to cross the mountains and finally get to the historical region of Transylvania. Over here you will start your vampire hunt and find out all about Vlad the Impaler and Bram Stoker's Dracula. The first stop here is the medieval castle of Bran, also known as Dracula's Castle.

    Brasov

    Your last stop of the day is the medieval part of the city of Brasov. Take a walking city tour of this charming old town with its impressive history and landmarks. From here you will journey back to Bucharest.

  • Peles Castle is closed as following: 12 May - 15 Sept: closed on Monday; 16 Sep - 15 May:closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; 30 Oct - 30 Nov: Peles Castles is closed for a full month for cleaning & restoration. The Sinaia Monastery & the Torture Chamber in Bran Castle will be visited instead.
  • IMPORTANT! 1) If you want to visit Peles Castle please buy tickets in advance only for the time slot (10:00-11:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-11:00) because there is a maximum capacity of 500 tickets per time slot. 2) If you have your trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday please check the availability of the time slot in advance. 3) If you made the booking but the tickets are already sold out you can buy tickets to Pelisor castle, which is also worth to be visited. The time slot that you have to choose here is (10:00-12:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-12:00) 5) PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR OTHER TIME SLOTS THAN THE ONE MENTIONED ABOVE!
