This safari holiday takes you to the most visited national parks in Uganda. You will visit the chimpanzees and the mountain gorillas in their natural habitants as well as encounter with Africa's Big-4 mammals in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the famous national park in Africa.
You will also visit the Igongo cultural center best known for its rich cultural history as well as visiting the Batwa people in Bwindi to learn about their lifestyle.
Our guide will be able to pick you up from your residence or hotel upon prior communication at least 72hr before the trip date.
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by our driver/guide. He will then welcome you to the pearl of Africa and then after transfer you to your booked hotel in Entebbe.
After your tasty breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale national park as you pass through the green vegetation as well as the green tea plantations of the region with a beautiful scenery. Arrive in time for lunch and later visit the Kings Palace before heading to your lodge in Kibale forest for relaxation and overnight stay.
After early served breakfast, we drive to Kanyanchu visitor information center for briefing before entering the forest in search for the chimpanzees. Briefing always begins at 08:00am and this mainly gives guidelines about chimpanzee trekking for example the number of people to trek as well as the distance to be away from the chimpanzees. Chimpanzees are man’s closest relatives though they are the most threatened primate species. This national park which averages about 3,300 feet in elevation is an extension of the great rain forests of central Africa. In the afternoon, go for a walk in Bigodi swamp and expect to see other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, and many bird species like the yellow-spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle, black bee-eater, and Rwenzori turaco among others. Later drive to Queen Elizabeth arriving in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay
After early served breakfast, go for a game drive in the park and expect to see animals like elephants, leopards, Topi, Uganda Kob, cape buffaloes, waterbucks and giant forest hogs among others. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This 2hour cruise will give you the opportunity to see highest hippopotamus populations and other animals on the lake shores. This cruise provides the best opportunity for taking good photographs. Water animals as well as birds can be seen during this cruise. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast in the morning, check out of the facility and drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. This journey takes you through the Ishasha sector as you get to enjoy the beautiful views of the national park and expect to see different animals grazing around the parks beautiful vegetation. Arrive and check in for dinner and overnight stay
After early served breakfast, go for briefing at the park headquarters where you will meet guides who will brief you especially on the guidelines of gorilla trekking. Later you enter the forest in search for man’s closest relatives. Coming face to face with the gorillas is one of the most rewarding and thrilling experience and this will leave you with the most precious memories of a life time. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the afternoon Batwa community walk.
After our late breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo National, hence stopover in Mbarara for lunch and Igongo cultual museum visit, continue with our drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The afternoon is spent on a game drive spotting the Elands, impalas, water bucks, warthogs and zebras.
After early served breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to the park offices to meet with your ranger guide for the ultimate adventure experience inside the national park on foot as you get up-close with the wild animals before you depart to Entebbe. En-route stop at the equator in Kayabwe for lunch and take a group picture at the equator. You can as well participate in the water experiment at the equator where an imaginary line divides the Northern hemisphere and Southern hemisphere. Later continue to Entebbe and arrive at the airport in time for your international flight back home.
