The Blue Safari is designed for those who, besides sailing in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, dream of getting close to the glacier ice!
This tour is a wonderful option to see, be amazed and marvel at the Perito Moreno Glacier, allowing us to return with a soul full of natural energy.
Once in Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, just 7 km from the footbridges, we will take a boat to cross Lago Rico and, after sailing for 20 minutes, we will disembark on the opposite shore. Little by little we will walk for 30 minutes always with a view to the south wall of the Glacier in case we are surprised by a thunderous detachment. Once next to the ice, it will be time for an unforgettable experience?
We will be able to fully enjoy its intense and varied blues, whites and whimsical shapes.
We will have time to take lots of pictures and then we will return to the boarding place always accompanied by an experienced guide.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Transportation to and from most of the hotels in El Calafate, as long as they have Reception. In case you are staying in airbnb or the hotel does not have reception, you will be informed of the nearest meeting point for the pick up / Drop Off. As soon as you make the tour reservation, contact us via whatsapp, to inform in which hotel you are staying.
The meeting point will be at the PUERTO BAJO LAS SOMBRAS. We will be waiting for you at our "Hielo y Aventura" office. There is a visible booth that says BLUE SAFARI. There we will wait for you. Check in 8.50hs AM or 11.50hs AM. Confirm after making the reservation.

You will be able to enjoy 2 hours of the incredible panoramic views that the landscape offers us. During this stretch you can take the opportunity to consume the lunch or food that you should bring from El Calafate. This tour is a wonderful option to see, be surprised and marvel at the Perito Moreno Glacier, allowing us to return with a soul full of natural energy. Here is included the transfer time to and from the starting point of the tour.

We will take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino until we disembark on the opposite shore. Little by little we will walk with a view of the south wall of the glacier, always attentive to the possible sightings of the fabulous landslides. Once next to the ice we will have time for an unforgettable experience, where we will be able to fully enjoy its intense and varied blues, whites and whimsical shapes. The total hike will be through a natural terrain of sand and stones with some slopes and stairs. The one and a half kilometer walk will be along the shore of the lake and through a lush forest overlooking the glacier.
