  Islas Ballestas

  Embark on a thrilling 2-hour boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the "Galápagos of Peru." Departing from the coastal town of Paracas, this tour offers a unique opportunity to witness a rich variety of marine wildlife in their natural habitat. As you cruise across the Pacific Ocean, your first stop is the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, a large ancient figure etched into the desert hillside—visible only from the sea and shrouded in legend. Continuing toward the Ballestas Islands, you’ll be surrounded by stunning rock formations and sea caves, home to an incredible range of wildlife including: Sea lions lounging on the rocks Humboldt penguins waddling along the cliffs Thousands of seabirds, such as pelicans, boobies, and cormorants Important Notes: Tours are conducted in safe, modern speedboats Life jackets and safety briefings are provided This is a non-landing tour (you view the islands from the boat) Morning departures are recommended for calmer seas

  Paracas National Reserve

  After your exploration of the Ballestas Islands, we invite you to continue the adventure with a guided land tour of the Paracas National Reserve. This experience takes you into one of Peru’s most unique ecosystems, where the desert dramatically meets the ocean, creating breathtaking landscapes. The tour includes a visit to the Julio C. Tello Museum (if open), offering insights into the rich history and culture of the ancient Paracas civilization. You will also have time to stroll through the charming El Chaco waterfront, perfect for shopping local handicrafts and souvenirs, and to enjoy a relaxing seaside lunch. This entire program is optional and already included in your package, giving you the freedom to enjoy it at your own pace.
