3National Museum Of Egyptian Civilization NEMC
Then visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the museum displays several objects intend to take you on a journey through the ancient Egyptian civilization across various key historical phases. NMEC is located in the heart of Al-Fustat, the ancient Islamic capital of Egypt and surrounded by many religious complexes. Now take a breath, you are ready to meet the pharaohs – those great Kings and Queens who ruled Egypt thousands of years ago. With the moving of 22 mummies, including 18 kings and four queens, from the Egyptian Museum, in an event termed the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade. The Royal Mummies’ Hall is specially designed to display the mummies of the ancient Kings and Queens of Egypt. The design aims to give the visitor the feeling of strolling down the Valley of the Kings, where most of these mummies were originally resting.
