Day 1 – Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum Your private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and escort you to the legendary Giza Plateau. Giza Pyramids Complex Stand before the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, the oldest and largest of the three pyramids. Continue to the Pyramid of Khafre and learn how its casing stones once made it shine brighter than Khufu’s. View the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest yet beautifully proportioned. Stop at the Panoramic Viewpoint for stunning photos and an optional camel ride overlooking the desert and pyramids. Pickup from your hotel after breakfast and drive to Old Cairo, one of the most spiritual and historic areas of the city. Coptic Cairo Visit the Hanging Church, built above the ruins of the Roman Fortress. Explore the Church of Abu Serga, where the Holy Family is believed to have taken refuge during their journey in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, located at the place where baby Moses was said to be found.
