What to expect
Our sommelier, a master of wines, will lead to the world of wine tasting in a wonderful location in the vineyards inside a wonderful estate, close to the Valley of Butterflies.
From the moment you arrive at our estate you will know you are in good hands. You will be greeted warmly and get settled in. After meeting our wine connoisseur, you will receive a great overview of the Greek wine history of the estate and the vineyards.
We will enjoy a walk through the vineyards, where the winemaker himself will explain you how everything start from the vines, we will discuss the viticulture process and objectives of production.
Inside the building in the center of the vineyards, we visit the only legal professional distillery of ‘Souma” in Dodekanissos!
Once that is done, we arrive at the winery and see where the winemaking practices take place when the grapes are harvested.
After peaking our appetite for wine, we finally end the tour with a tasting of the different wines, all produced by the grapes we just saw growing, taste olive oil & souma produced here.
