An afternoon at Sillustani, where the Colla people built their burial towers (chullpas) on a ridge above Lake Umayo. On the 40-minute drive from Puno, stop at a family house in Atuncolla. At the site, walk 15 to 20 minutes up stone steps to the ridge at 3,895 m. Then spend about an hour with your guide among the towers, including the Lagarto tower and an unfinished tower that still shows the ramp used to build it. You're back in Puno around 6 pm.

Pick up from your hotel will be at 2:00pm with out private bus. It will take approximately 45 minutes to get to the archaeological site of Sillustani. Here, you will see Incan and Pre-Incan funerary tombs. After you will also visit Umayo Lagoon before returning to Puno. You will be returning to Puno at approximately 5:30pm.
