This comprehensive tour of Iceland´s iconic Golden Circle route takes you to the most popular sights where you can experience some of Iceland´s most famed natural wonders.
We make stops at Geysir geothermal area where Strokkur geyser can be relied upon to erupt every 10 minutes or so. Witness the glacier meltwater fueled roar of the immense Gullfoss Waterfall. Visit the fascinating geological formations at Thingvellir Nartional Park, the site of Iceland´s first parliament. We also stop at the impressive 6500 year old volcanic crater at Kerið.

Our pickup can take up to 30 minutes so please wait at your pickup location from the time written on your ticket.
The meeting point for this tour is just outside the VOR cruise terminal building, Skarfagarðar 8, 104 Reykjavík. Our guide will be waiting at the tour passenger pick up point just outside the cruise port exit. Look for the row of bus stops.

2Golden Circle Route
Golden Circle is the most popular day tour route from Reykjavik. It traverses spectacular landscapes and includes three Iceland's iconic destinations: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.

3Strokkur
Strokkur is the little brother or the famous Geysir which not active anymore. Strokkur though is still very active blowing water up into the air every 7 to 10 minutes. We'll usually stop for lunch at Geysir for about 40 min At this stop can you also purchase food.

4Gullfoss
Gullfoss is a waterfall of the White River Hvítá. It has two steps of 11 and 21 meters and there are pulling more 100 m3 water through it at a second.

5Pingvellir National Park
The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.
