Las Coloradas pink lakes is the place to go while you are on holidays in the Peninsula of Yucatan! Located at approximately 170 miles/3h30 driving from Cancun or Playa del Carmen, Las Coloradas, known as well as “pink lakes” are lagoons close to the ocean with bright pink color. Las Coloradas are the place of the production of a daily basic condiment, salt. Salt was extremely important in the Mayan culture for the preservation of the food as well as a nutritional need.
Important information: From July 19 to August 19, 2023, due to the beginning of the salt harvest, the pink tone of Las Coloradas is much lower and you will not be able to appreciate the characteristic color of this area. We thank you for your understanding

If your hotel is not in the previous list please let us know in which hotel are you staying so a representative of our company can contact you to indicate the correct place and time of your pickup. We ask you to indicate the hotel where you are staying in the special requirements box and also with your email. This service has only one schedule, between 6:30 am to 7:45 am. The schedules vary according to the hotel, our representative will indicate the exact schedule via mail or via text message. 1Las Coloradas
On this day tour you will enjoy nature in our destination Las Coloradas. On the way we'll give you a lunch box. When we reach our first destination, take out your camera and get ready to take many photos in the famous Pink Lagoons, where the pink color of the waters of this place give one of the most magical landscapes that can be seen in the world, perfect for a postcard. Las Coloradas is the seat of one of the salt flats the most important in the country, you will be able to discover the history, harvests and salt process with a guide native to Las Coloradas.

2Rio Lagartos
Then we will board a boat and take us through the Lagartos River Reserve where you will discover mangroves and different types of birds that inhabit the place, such as the magnificent main flamingos to visit this reserve. Also don't miss the opportunity to take a May bath to exfoliate your skin with natural mud. After covering your skin with mud, you'll take a swim on the beach of Rio Lagartos to remove everything and you'll see the results in a second. Afterwards you can rest a little and enjoy the food in the restaurant where you can choose from the dishes of the main menu.
