On the way from our meeting point we'll walk thru the beautiful Swedish forest by foot on forest path's going over a smaller mountain (pavement walking thru suburbs also possible) where the guide talks about Swedish life, allemansrätten and nature.
Than at the site itself, next to a beautiful lakeside, you'll learn about the viking age life and living, how to write runes and enjoy a beautiful day surrounded by history and nature situated only a hour away by reliable public transport from Stockholm.

Swedish forest walk. Take a walk and experience the Swedish forest by foot using paths in the forest from our meeting location. Our meeting place are at the bus stop Lovisedal by bus 610 from Danderyds hospital who connect to the Red Stockholm Subway/Metro Line towards Mörby centrum (Subway stop Danderyds sjukhus) only 10min from Stockholm central. From there we'll go, if able-bodied guests, not on the pavement but thrue the beautiful, mystical Swedish forest over a smaller mountain approximately 15min until we get to the site. During the walk we'll make short stops and the guide talks about Swedish customs, allemansrätten and nature.

On this tour we tell you about the Viking age in general, the viking lord Ulv whom the two runestones mentions, about the well organized viking age and the place itself: a meeting place to control the population. You'll also learn how viking age divorce worked, by showing your breast or wearing pants, and some other Viking laws.
