See the ally of the executioner named Hell, meet folklore Vaesen like the myrling or Näcken, the curses the elves blow on you making you sick. And the most terrifying of all; the mediveal and Viking undead crawling spreading sicknesses and death.

Meeting and pickup
Meet the guide by the right side of the stairs leading into the Nobel museum in Old Town Stockholm. We start our walk there exploring the dark parts of old town and beyond.
This tour ends just outside of Old town on the north side besides Kungsträdgården where it is a 10min walk back to the start. The tour goes in old town and around.

Here at stortorget we will talk about death and the magical use of body parts in folklore. Explore about the executions of around 90 souls around when the Danish King Kristian took Stockholm. We also explore the folklore beliefs in the blood of the dead to use for curses, the gallow parts to brew good tale and how to use other parts of the dead...

At the door of a house.we explore the use of protection with iron to protect against the vaesen. Against elves who comes with the mist (souls not getting rest), learn about the Swedish Tomte. Not to forget the all so important protection of the door and the newborn who before the baptism lacks protection against the trolls and the Devil. What protection measures you should use.

We explore the folklore vaesen connected to water. Hear about Näcken, the bäckahästen (the Swedish version of Kelpie), the Sjörå, (sea-rå) and the skepps-rå (skiprå) among others and how they tried to drown people and lure them into the deep.
