    Pick up in the morning from your accommodation in Iquitos, or from our office, in private car or minivan (depending on group size). We'll drive south for 1 hour and 45 minutes (approx.) to reach the village of Nauta. In our road you will get a brief description of the city of Iquitos, its surroundings and some of its main attractions. Departure by private boat from the port of Nauta , continuing upstream for 3 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the possibility of seeing river dolphins (greys and pinks), herons, turtles and many other species along with a flora spectacular. Arrival in the community of Santo Domingo , checkpoint of entry to the Reserve Pacaya Samiria National. Here we register and show the tickets to the officer in charge. The entrance to Pacaya Samiria is controlled and regulated by SERNANP (Service National Protected Natural Areas)

    Continue boating for 30 minutes until you reach the community of Buenos Aires. On our way we will be watching flora and fauna along the banks of the river. Watch for birds, especially herons (such as crowned herons or herons). snowy egret) and fishermen's martins. Walking expedition through the primary jungle to observe wildlife and enjoy the Nature. Night walk in search of spiders, snakes, lizards, frogs or rodents, listening to the different sounds of nocturnal animals. Overnight in typical village house of the community of Buenos Aires.     We get up early to enjoy the sunrise in the rainforest and then we began our expedition. We'll keep an eye out for monkeys and sloths. Then we will get in a canoe and explore the banks of the river, always attentive to movements and sounds to observe the fauna in their morning routine next to the River. Sailing around 3 hours on the Pucate River, getting deeper and deeper into the Primary jungle. We will take you by boat to try artisanal sport fishing piranhas, as the locals do. The guide will instruct you, help you and provide all necessary equipment. If you are skilled you can even fish Acarahuazu (Oscarfish), Fasaco (Trahira common) among others. Observation of pink dolphins (Inia geoffrensis) and gray dolphins or tucuxis. This is your chance to jump into the Pucate River and swim inside Pacaya Samiria

    Walk through the jungle in the virgin jungle where we can observe the flora and fauna of the Amazon. Walking tour to see the Lupuna, one of the largest trees of the Amazon rainforest. Exploration of Lake Iricahua (cocha). To get there, we will walk around 2 - 3 hours inside the jungle. In Iricahua we will have the opportunity to see different monkey species such as woolly monkey (squirt monkey), howler monkey (monkey) howler), titi monkey (stump monkey or friar monkey), among others. Besides, this lake is inhabited by Paiche (Arapaima Gigas), the largest fish in the Amazon rainforest. Other animals we can see here are turtles and alligators in search of the sun. Night expedition to find and see black and white alligators (large river lizards). Set up campsite. Primary jungle camp. We'll sleep in tents.

    We get up very early and start looking for primates while We explored in our canoe. Morning botanical walk. You will meet different medicinal plants of the jungle Amazon. We will learn to cut and drink from a vine called “Water Noose” (Water rope) . Pack up our camping stuff and get ready to go deep More in Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. We will sail approximately 2 hours to our next destination. Expedition in search of primates and other animals in their habitat. The deeper you go into the jungle Amazon, the more chance you have to see wildlife. Exploration of streams by canoe. At the end of the stream, we'll get off the canoe and We will walk through the surroundings watching wildlife as the armadillo of nine bands (Carachupa), the giant anteater (Anteater), rodents as Paca agutí (Majaz) and Black agutí (Añuje), among others.

    Boat ride of approx. 2 hours to reach our next camping area, further into the virgin forest, in a local area called Quebrada del friar (stream) Friar). The deeper we go into the jungle, the more chance we have to see more different species of animals, birds and fish. Jungle hike to find and observe monkeys (such as the howler monkey or the choro monkey) and other animals. We will be attentive because this place is good for spotting macaws (red and green macaw or ar chloroptera, blue macaw and yellow or ara ararauna, among others). In Pacaya Samiria National Reserve we can find 2 of the 8 macaw species found in Peru. Excursion to search and observe some giant river otters. Night canoe trip, looking for wildlife. Night walk in search of the nine-banded armadillo (carachupa or Dasypus novemcinctus) and rodents such as black agutí (whet or Dasyprocta fuliginosa) and bale agutí (majaz)

    Canoe trip in the early morning to awaken the senses. We'll go to Bird watching. This is the best time to see wild birds in their own habitat by the riverbank and into the jungle. Jungle hike in search of primates, exploring surrounding lakes (cars) in search of wildlife. We start our way back, stopping in the community of Buenos Aires Air to stretch your legs and have the opportunity to contribute to the community buying your handmade crafts if you choose. Return by boat to the village of Nauta. Ground transportation from Nauta to Iquitos. Arrival at our office, or if you prefer we will take you to your accommodation in Iquitos or the airport
