Best of all! As we are a sustainable company and we seek local benefits, part of the profits from the tours are used to carry out social projects, allowing us to help many families with fewer resources and children in extreme poverty.
We kick off our journey in Miraflores, starting from the Jose Larco Avenue, that leads us to Parque Kennedy, a beloved spot among locals and visitors alike. This lively park is known for its energetic atmosphere, surrounded by charming cafes, boutique shops, and, of course, the playful cats that roam freely. As we wander through the park, you’ll have the chance to soak in the local vibe.
After exploring the park, we’ll take one of the main avenues, which is both safe and easy to navigate. This route will take us to Miraflores Bay, where you’ll find the enchanting Parque del Amor. This romantic park, with its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, perfectly embodies the spirit of love. In Parque del Amor, you'll admire an iconic monument created by the celebrated local artist Victor Delfin. This sculpture, a touching symbol of love and passion, is a must-see spot for memorable photos. The combination of art, nature, and stunning views makes visiting Parque del Amor an unforgettable experience on your Miraflores bike tour.
We'll stop at Larcomar, one of Miraflores most iconic landmarks. This shopping center is built on a cliff with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean, making it a perfect place to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. Here, you'll have a few minutes to refresh, and appreciate the modern architecture blended with the coastal nature.
This modern ecological park is one of Miraflores' newest green spaces, built to commemorate Peru's bicentennial. From here, we cross the La Paz Bridge, a pedestrian walkway with beautiful views of the sea and the Costa Verde. It's a perfect place to take photos, enjoy the coastal scenery, and discover an example of sustainable urban planning in Lima.
From this point, we'll have a spectacular view of the expanse of Peru's Costa Verde. We can see Morro Solar in Chorrillos, the Bay of Lima, and even La Punta in Callao. On clear days, you can even see the Palomino Islands and Frontón. It's an ideal place to stop and contemplate the immensity of the Pacific Ocean.
We'll appreciate the facade of the home of renowned Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín, famous for his work "El Beso," located in the Parque del Amor. His home-studio, located on the oceanfront in the Barranco neighborhood, is an icon of contemporary Peruvian art.
We'll stop at a classic ice cream shop and café. Here you can take a break and enjoy a coffee or homemade ice cream. It's a great time to relax, chat, and recharge before continuing our tour.
Continuing our adventure, we'll take a walking tour around the bohemian and artistic district of Barranco, a vibrant area, full of life and creativity, known for its relaxed atmosphere and rich cultural heritage. Barranco is a treasure of artistic expression, one of our key stops will be the Bridge of Sighs, an iconic wooden bridge steeped in romantic history.
As we explore Barranco, we'll enjoy a visual delight with the stunning urban art murals that adorn its streets. This district is essentially an open-air museum where local artists have transformed the walls into spectacular canvases. Each mural tells a unique story, reflecting Barranco's identity and capturing the essence of Peruvian life through vibrant colors and diverse artistic styles.
Walking through this elegant avenue, we'll enjoy the traditional Barranco architecture with a strong European influence. Here, we'll find restored mansions such as Hotel B, Casa República, and Casa Sáenz Peña, all examples of the charm of old Barranco. It's a stop that invites us to pause, observe, and connect with the history and unique aesthetics of the district. Finally, the return will be made by the same route as the outward journey.
