  Begin your adventure with an unforgettable two-hour motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, often called “the Galápagos of Peru.” On your way, you’ll stop briefly to see the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph — a massive figure etched into the desert hillside whose origins remain unknown. As you reach the islands, you’ll be surrounded by abundant wildlife, including Humboldt Penguins, Peruvian Pelicans, Boobies, Cormorants, and Inca Terns. Watch colonies of sea lions bask on the rocks, and if you’re visiting during birthing season, you may even spot hundreds of baby pups alongside their mothers. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins and fascinating marine life such as starfish and sunfish.

  Paracas National Reserve

  Next, your journey continues inland to the Paracas National Reserve, a stunning protected area that combines desert landscapes, rich biodiversity, and striking coastal views.   From there, you’ll head to the Tacama Winery, one of South America’s oldest vineyards, for a delicious lunch paired with local wines. After lunch, take a guided tour of Tacama, where you’ll learn about the winery’s fascinating history, the process behind their award-winning wines and piscos, and the rich heritage of viticulture in Peru. You’ll have the opportunity to taste a selection of their best wines and piscos while soaking in the peaceful ambiance of the estate.

  Your adventure continues in Huacachina, Peru’s famous desert oasis — a natural lagoon surrounded by towering golden dunes. Take in the view or stroll around this picturesque spot before heading out for the next thrill. Finally, climb aboard your dune buggy for an exhilarating ride through the desert! Feel the rush as you speed up and down massive dunes, stopping at scenic spots for photos and the chance to try sandboarding, a must-do activity in Huacachina.
