After meeting your tour conductor, travel by comfortable sightseeing bus for approximately 50 minutes to Otaru. Begin your visit at the Temiya Line Venue, where the former railway tracks are transformed into a magical corridor of candlelight and snow sculptures. From there, enjoy a self-guided walk through the festival's various venues. Continue to the Art Base Venue, where historic buildings and winter illuminations create a charming atmosphere, before making your way to the famous Otaru Canal Venue. Here, countless lanterns and floating lights reflect on the canal waters, creating one of the festival's most iconic scenes. The walking route allows you to experience several of the festival's main areas in a single visit. Your meeting point after sightseeing is the LeTAO Canal Plaza Store. Thanks to the coach tour format, you can explore these venues efficiently without the need to navigate transportation between them on your own.
After approximately 15 minutes of travel, arrive at Mt. Tengu, one of Otaru's most famous viewpoints. Ride the ropeway to the summit and enjoy sweeping views over the city, Ishikari Bay, and the surrounding snow-covered landscape. Mt. Tengu is widely known for its spectacular nighttime scenery, and on clear evenings the twinkling city lights create a memorable contrast against the winter surroundings. At the summit, you can also visit the Mt. Tengu Venue of the Snow Light Path Festival, where candlelight displays add to the magical winter atmosphere. Please note that weather conditions may affect visibility, and night views cannot be guaranteed. After sightseeing, begin the return journey to Sapporo.
