Not every shore day has to be temples and traffic. If your ship docks at Safaga and you would rather be in the water, this is the easy call.
You transfer down to Hurghada Marina and board a boat out to the reefs, where the Red Sea does its thing: warm, clear water, walls of coral, and clouds of bright fish over the drop-offs. Snorkeling gear is included, the crew points you to the best spots, and there is time between swims to dry off on deck. Lunch is included on board.
No diving certificate needed, and the snorkeling suits beginners. It is a full day on and around the water rather than a quick dip.
Ideal for cruise guests who want a relaxed Red Sea day over another round of sightseeing.
Please share your cruise ship name and arrival/departure times when you book. Your guide and snorkel crew will meet you at the Safaga port arrivals gate with an air-conditioned vehicle for a short transfer to the marina. The boat departs from a nearby Safaga marina. Bring swimwear, sun protection, and a change of clothes; we provide snorkel equipment. The trip is not suitable for non-swimmers or travelers with significant mobility limitations.
your guide and manager will be waiting for you outside the Cruise docking spot. They will be holding a sign showing your name. It will be quite easy for you to identify them.
You board at Hurghada Marina and the boat heads out to the reefs off the coast, where visibility often runs past 20 meters on a calm day. You slip in over coral gardens busy with parrotfish, butterflyfish, and the occasional sea turtle, with the crew watching from the boat and steering you to the liveliest patches. Gear is provided, and there is time to rest on deck and eat lunch between swims. The water is warm year-round, which is why the Red Sea reefs draw snorkelers from all over.
