Then, on arrival in Jerash, head into this archaeological jewel through the ancient city gate. Jerash founded by Alexander the Great in the 2nd century AD and known as Gerasa, this provincial city was one of the wealthiest in the Roman Empire. Stroll around as your guide (If Hired) tells you fascinating stories about the city in its heyday. See its arches, theatres and magnificent colonnaded street, and take photos of the Oval Plaza, an intriguing oval-shaped forum, as you conjure up images of the people who once lived here. After your walking tour finishes, return to the vehicle and travel back to Amman or Petra.

The Amman Citadel is a historical site at the center of downtown Amman, the capital of Jordan. The L-shaped hill is one of the seven hills that originally made up Amman. Evidence of occupation since the pottery Neolithic period has been found and the hill was fortified during the Bronze Age. Amman's Roman Theatre is a 6,000-seat, 2nd-century Roman theatre. A famous landmark in the Jordanian capital, it dates back to the Roman period when the city was known as Philadelphia.
Breakfast at the hotel, pick up at the hotel lobby, and drive to Madaba, where we to find the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George’s church and to the Archaeological Park where you can see more ancient mosaics. If open, visit the church of St. John the Baptist, also called the Cathedral situated on top of the hill in the old town of Madaba with a notable museum containing paintings and themes of the life of John the Baptist.
Continue to Mt. Nebo. The place Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge located in Jordan, approximately 700 metres above sea level. Part of the Abarim mountain range, Mount Nebo is mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before his death.

visit the Rose city of Petra. Walk through the 1200m (2/3 mile) Siq canyon to see the famous rock-carved Treasury, the Street of Facades, passed the Theatre and down the Roman Street and have a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs. There will be time to visit more of the site on your own (maybe the Monastery which is around 900 steps).
Wadi Rum ("Valley of the Moon") is where the legendary film "Lawrence of Arabia" was filmed. Marvel at the unique shape of the mountain as it rises from the rose-red sand of the desert. See towering cliffs of brownish, reddish and golden colours. Two hours Jeep tour with the Bedouins to explore and discover Wadi Rum ( optional ).
After breakfast at the camp head south to Aqaba and go on a 1.5-hour cruise to see Aqaba Gulf ( optional ) after that chick inn at the hotel explore the city markets and beach.
