On Day 1 of your 6-night/7-day cruise from Luxor to Aswan, get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure. We'll start by picking you up from the airport or train station in Luxor and taking you to your cruise ship around 11am to settle into your cabin. Our first tour will be to the east bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temples, where our Egyptologist guide will explain the history of this impressive temple dedicated to the Theban triad of gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Next, we'll visit Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. At the end of the tour, we'll transfer you back to the boat.

After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast, get ready for your next tour in Luxor, which is on the west bank. Discover the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit the remarkable tombs and last resting place of Kings Ramssess III, Ramssess VI, and Mrenptah. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which consists of three consecutive floors on open balconies, built of limestone, and features statues of the god Osiris and Queen Hatshepsut in a beautiful distribution. See the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III besides the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour, return to your cruise and set sail from Luxor. Along the way, you will see the Esna lock and continue sailing to Kom Ombo.

Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast on board the ship in Kom Ombo. Take some time to relax on the boat before embarking on your next tour. You will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to two great deities and situated on the east bank of the River Nile. Learn about the structure and history of the temple and the significance of its dual dedication. After your tour, return to the boat for lunch.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, get ready for your next tour in Aswan. You will visit the Philae Temple by motor, which is located on an island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam downstream of the Aswan Dam and Lake Nasser in Egypt. Your guide will then take you to the next stop, the High Dam, which is an embankment dam constructed across the Nile in Aswan between 1960 and 1970. Lastly, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan.

After a restful night's sleep, wake up early to prepare for an unforgettable visit to Abu Simbel in Aswan.
