Upon your arrival in Aswan, our local representative will meet you at the airport or your hotel to start check-in and begin your program, depending on your arrival time.
Visit the famous High Dam of Aswan, one of Egypt’s greatest modern achievements. Built in the 1960s, the dam protects the country from floods, generates massive hydroelectric power, and created Lake Nasser — one of the largest artificial lakes in the world. From the top of the dam, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the Nile flowing beneath.
Explore the magical Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis — the symbol of love and motherhood. The temple was carefully relocated to Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam, saving it from submersion. As you walk through its courtyards and beautifully carved columns, you’ll feel the serene atmosphere that made it one of Egypt’s most beloved temples. After your visits, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board, followed by a relaxing afternoon and dinner in the evening. You’ll also have some free time to wander around Aswan—whether it’s a walk along the Nile Corniche or exploring the local market.
If you would like to add an unforgettable experience, you can join the optional early-morning trip to Abu Simbel. Around 4:00 AM, our driver will pick you up to join a small group heading to the iconic rock-cut temples of King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari , one of the most impressive ancient sites in Egypt. You’ll arrive around 8:00 AM, enjoy your visit, and return to the cruise around noon while the cruise will start sailing towards Kom Ombo.
A unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon. It’s one of the few temples in Egypt with perfectly symmetrical design.
Visit the magnificent Temple of Edfu, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. As you walk through its grand entrance and detailed reliefs, you'll get a vivid glimpse into ancient rituals, myths, and the legendary battle between Horus and Seth.
After your visit, the cruise continues sailing toward Luxor. Once you arrive, you’ll start exploring the East Bank beginning with the stunning Luxor Temple, a masterpiece built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, famous for its grand colonnades and vibrant inscriptions.
Next, you’ll head to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious sites ever constructed. Among its wonders is the iconic Hypostyle Hall, an awe-inspiring forest of towering columns that once supported massive stone roof blocks.
Start your morning by exploring the West Bank of Luxor. Your first stop will be the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece built for the extraordinary Queen Hatshepsut, rising gracefully in terraces against the cliffs.
Next, you’ll head to the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, where you can explore three beautifully decorated tombs carved deep into the mountains.
Before finishing your tour, you'll stop by the Colossi of Memnon, the iconic twin statues that once guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After completing your visits, you’ll be transferred comfortably to the airport / train station / your hotel in Luxor marking the end of your unforgettable Nile Cruise journey.
