Ranked among the 25 best museums in the world, this remarkable institution is housed in a beautifully restored 18th-century mansion in Lima. Its exceptional collection spans more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history, featuring over 45,000 archaeological pieces — including gold, silver, and copper jewelry adorned with precious stones, as well as pottery, textiles, and finely crafted metalwork that showcase the sophistication of Peru’s pre-Columbian cultures. LUNCH: at midday there will be a break of 1 hour 30 minutes so you can have lunch. We will recommend you some good local restaurants.

2Plaza San Martin
In the second part of the tour, we will visit this historic plaza, built in the early 1900s to celebrate the centennial of Peru’s independence. The impressive surrounding buildings showcase elegant Neoclassical architecture, reflecting the artistic and cultural splendor of that period.

Next, we will head to the Main Square, the most emblematic plaza in Peru. 4Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas
