Ruins of an old fortress called "Portuguese Fort" or "Borj El Baroud". It was rebuilt at the time of Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah (Mohammed III 1757 - 1790) on the remains of an old probably Carthaginian fortress and a Phoenician megdul. It was used in antiquity as a lighthouse with a wood fire. It collapsed on January 13, 1856 following a catastrophic flood of Oued Ksob.

The White House or Dar Es-sultan was a beautiful palace once built by Hoban a wealthy negotiator from the makhzen (Moroccan power). It was given to Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah before becoming the residence of Moulay Abderrahmane, Khalifa of the king in Mogador. When he was king (1822 -1858) it served as a residence for the high dignitaries of the makhzen.

The cooking class will take place in a Moroccan house located in the small village of Diabat. Upon arrival, our guests will be welcomed and then taught how to prepare the tasty traditional Moroccan mint tea. During tea time we will enjoy delicious homemade Moroccan biscuits and cakes and some dried fruits. I invite you to discover and learn how to cook a chicken or meat or vegetarian tagine. You will discover fresh, local and seasonal products, which allows you to have the best flavors. You are going to feel fully involved, allowing you to have a memorable and wonderful personal dining experience.
