  Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

  Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall was built to show the achievement of the city planning and construction. The main body of the building covers Shanghai's development from ancient times to the present and beyond. There is a city model made in a scale of 1/500, total 600 square meters, the largest in the world.

  Xintiandi

  Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Xintiandi is divided into northern and southern parts. The south is dominated by modern architecture, with an old Shikumen building as a supplement. The north is dominated by Shikumen old buildings. Here, there is a collection of unique businesses from around the world. It was also the site of the first congress of the Communist Party.

  Shikumen Museum, Shanghai

  It is an old shikumen house built in the 1920s that has been preserved and renovated. The museumwas built according to the model of one household in the 1920s. There are seven main exhibition rooms, namely, the guest room, the study room, the old people's room, the master room, the daughter room, the pavilion room and the oven room. The story of a shikumen family runs through the whole visit. It not only shows the unique shikumen architectural culture of Shanghai, but also reproduces the living space and lifestyle of Shanghai people in those days. Nowadays, the museum is a good place for us to cherish the memory of old Shanghai and trace the historical memory.
