This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests (price is for 6 persons).
In this tour we will visit a winery and olive oil factory. They have high standards of production, marrying the old traditions with modern technology and processing. In each location we will spend around one hour touring the facilities and tasting. Tastings are 25 euro each and not included in price of tour.
We will enjoy stunning views, visit a 5000 year old olive tree and eat in a local restaurant. Optionally we could do beer tasting, visit Gonia monastery, Maleme airfield and the WW2 military cemetery.
Tour times in each location can be modified depending on the travellers starting time and the date.
No tours on weekends or holidays. Locations can be visited 1st April to beginning of November.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick up and drop off at Souda port, your accommodation or any other convenient location 10km or 6 miles around Chania old town or near the national road west of Chania up to Tavronitis/Maleme junction. Please contact us regarding your pick up place for further information.

Optional Beer tasting at the brewery for around an hour. There is an choice of food to accompany the beer tasting, or we could visit another better restaurant. A flight of 6 beers is 6 euro in 2025

Visit the ancient tree at Vouves. Optional lunch at a local restaurant later.

If interested, we can visit Maleme airport, the German cemetery and other WW2 monuments. This is an optional visit between 3 options.

Visit the 13th century monastery of Gonia and explore its rich history. This is an optional visit between 3 options. Entrance is 5 euro.
