Enjoy 3 days of travel to home of the youngest King's palace with it's features like the creator lakes, caves and water falls.
After breakfast, get yourself ready to hit the road to Fort Portal. The first stopover will be made in Mubende town for a quick snack and buying refreshments. Proceed again to Fort Portal for lunch and then to the Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru Caves. With the help of a local guide, you will trail down the caves for spectacular views. While there, you will be able to sight caves with the stunning stalactites and stalagmites with the milky substances within and scenic water falls adjacent. The guide will take you through the history and tradition of this area. After, you will then go for hiking along the hills that are as a result of volcanic eruptions. You will trail round the hill up to the top. This offers a wonderful view. You will also sight swamps/ wetlands, the crater lakes which are a result of volcanic eruptions and these provide a breath taking view. After the hiking, you will go down the hill as you proceed to check in at your hotel in Fortportal town. After checking in, refresh yourself and then take a short nap. In the evening, head out for a community walk in Fort Portal town to mix freely with the hospitable Batooro people. You can stay in the town for the night life in the bars and the clubs. Then dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After the morning breakfast, you will hit the road to Semuliki national park for a game drive. While there, you will see animals like buffalos, warthogs, chimpanzees, monkeys and many bird species. After the game drive, you will check out the Sempaya hot springs. At the springs, you will witness water boing its self-using the natural forces. Then you will drive back to Fort Portal town in the evening.
After morning breakfast, visit the Toro kingdom palace and the other cultural sites around the town. The Toro Kingdom is a home for the world’s youngest king “Oyo”.While here, Students will learn about the history of Toro kingdom traditional dress code, language spoken, about the past kings and where they are buried among others. Then also the numerous artifacts that represent their culture. You will get to know more about Toro kingdom and people while at the palace. There will be a local guide to take you through the history of Toro kingdom in details. Then you will hit the road back to Kampala but expecting to eat lunch on the way either in Kyenjojo or Mubende town. Then you drive to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe
