Giethoorn Day Trip from Amsterdam – Including Your Own Self-Drive Boat

Travel from Amsterdam to Giethoorn, the famous “Venice of the North,” and discover its peaceful canals, charming bridges.

On arrival, receive your own electric boat. No boating license or previous experience is required. The team explains how to operate the boat, before you set off.

Each boat accommodates up to 8 passengers and is reserved exclusively for your group. Groups larger than 8 receive two boats. Cruise through the canals at your own pace and discover Giethoorn from the water.

The boats are open, but umbrellas are available in case of light rain. If the weather is less suitable, you can choose our covered salon boat.

The tour includes 1 hour of self-drive boating. Additional sailing time can be arranged in advance or in Giethoorn for an extra fee. No security deposit is required.

Transport from Amsterdam is included, making this an easy and authentic way to experience Giethoorn and your private boat.
