Start your tour to Luxor Temple It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.

    Then move to visit Karnak Temple the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.     Then move to visit The Valley of the Queens in which Queens & other high-ranking officials were buried, The Valley of the Queens was known anciently as Ta-Set-Neferu, which has a double meaning of "The Place of Beauty" or "the Place of the Royal Children", Excavation of the tombs at the Valley of the Queens was pioneered by Ernesto Schiaparelli & Francesco Ballerini in the early 1900s, The Valley of the Queens consists of the main wadi, which contains most of the tombs along with the Valley of Prince Ahmose, the Valley of the Rope, the Valley of the Three Pits, & the Valley of the Dolmen, The main wadi contains 91 tombs & the subsidiary Valleys add another 19 tombs. The burials in the subsidiary Valleys all date to the 18th Dynasty, the reason for choosing the Valley of the Queens as a burial site is not known, the close proximity to the workers' village of Deir El-Medina, the Valley of the Queens was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.

    Then move to visit The Colossi of Memnon, are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, the largest temple in the Theban Necropolis, they have stood since 1350 BC, and were well known to Ancient Greeks and Romans, as well as early modern travelers and Egyptologists, The statues contain 107 Roman-era inscriptions in Greek and Latin, dated to between AD 20 and 250, many of these inscriptions on the northernmost statue make reference to the Greek mythological king Memnon, whom the statue was then erroneously thought to represent. Then transfer to have your lunch in a very nice restaurant.
