Climb aboard a 30-foot hand-crafted bamboo raft for a leisure ride down the Great River. While you listen to the rhythm of the river and hear the whisper of the trees. Immerse yourself in total relaxation and enjoy a limestone foot massage (can upgrade to a full body massage) that will leave your skin silky smooth and rejuvenated by the limestone.
Your tour start from pick up as your driver is also a tour guide who will give you details about Jamaica and its history (please asked once you are interested). Feel free to ask any question as this is apart of the Bamboo Rafting And Limestone Massage Experience
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You will receive your pickup information via email within 24 hours of your tour. We meet all guest at their hotel main lobby. If you are at a hotel with multiple lobbies, please specify which lobby you are at. Example Riu reggae, Riu Montego Bay and Riu Palace or Secret St James and Secret Wild Orchid.
Please contact us before you reach. The meeting point is Located at Lethe. Please use Lethe Primary School as a marker to enter the Bridge. At the Round-a-bout (circle) Make the left turn. Always ask for Juicy as he is the rafting dispatcher. Always ensure your captain is a member of our team.
What to expect
Relax on a 30-foot bamboo raft down the famous Great River. 2 person per raft, Raft weigh Limit is 500lbs combine weigh limit. The Great River is one of the main water source for Montego Bay and surrounding Communities. Enjoy a freshly cut Jelly coconut you will be surprise at the taste. There will be local cuisine at local cook shop (hole in the wall) at additional cost (optional). menu normally includes Curried Goat, Pork, Oxtail, Fry, curried or brown stew Chicken.
Rafting experience is expected to last 60 - 90 mins.
All Rafting ends at the starting point except in cases of high river condition. High River condition is where the river level start rising due to rain in other areas. At that point it is not possible to take you back to the starting point due to safety reasons.
