As you paddle the canals and open waters around Kungsholmen, Langholmen, Södermalm, and Gamla Stan, your guide shares insights into the city’s history and culture, depending on weather conditions and group preferences.

During the winter season the kayak station is closed to the public. Your guide will meet you on site and normally arrive about 15 minutes before the activity begins. The station is a large shipping container by the waterfront and easy to find.
We’ll start by meeting at the kayak station, where you’ll get to know your fellow paddlers. After that, we’ll help you choose a dry suit to keep you warm and dry. Once suited up, we’ll set up the kayaks and go through a paddle and safety briefing to ensure you’re comfortable on the water.
Now, it’s time to paddle through Stockholm’s beautiful city center, enjoying stunning views and peaceful waters, often all to ourselves. We use stable tandem kayaks by default, but single kayaks are available on request for experienced paddlers. The tour takes you through historic neighborhoods like Kungsholmen, Långholmen, Södermalm, Gamla Stan, and Lilla Essingen. You’ll paddle under charming bridges and along serene waterways. Our experienced guide will share insights into Stockholm’s history and culture, as well as tips on the best spots for photos and sightseeing.
