First Stop: San Gimignano free time Our first stop will be San Gimignano, where you will enjoy a 1-hour free visit before continuing to the wine tasting. Exploring San Gimignano on your own is very easy: San Gimignano is a small, walled medieval hill town near Siena, famously known as the "Town of Fine Towers." The town is celebrated for its saffron, the Golden Ham, and its renowned white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, made from the ancient Vernaccia grape grown in the sandstone hills. While in the main square, don’t miss the chance to taste the best ice cream in the world at Gelateria Dondoli, a two-time world champion!

Lunch at a Tuscan Organic Farm Now it's time for lunch! We will move to a beautiful organic Tuscan farm, located on a hill with a romantic view overlooking San Gimignano. Here, you'll enjoy a typical, genuine Tuscan lunch: A first course of bruschetta and cold cuts, served with pecorino cheese A second and third course featuring pasta and other traditional Tuscan delights To end the meal, a delicious dessert The meal will be accompanied by 4-5 glasses of wine, including Chianti DOCG, Vernaccia DOCG, Super Tuscan, and more. In addition, you will enjoy five tastings of extra virgin olive oil and three tastings of balsamic vinegar. All set in the serene and picturesque Tuscan countryside!

Monteriggioni Castle free time. After lunch, it’s time to visit the Monteriggioni Castle, a fascinating medieval fortress. Built by the Sienese between 1214 and 1219, it served as the front line in their wars against Florence. The castle successfully withstood numerous attacks by the Florentines until 1554, when, in an act of reconciliation with the Medici, Captain Zeti handed over the keys of the castle to Florentine forces. This act was considered a "great betrayal" by the citizens of Siena, who cursed him for his actions. According to legend, on full moon nights, you can hear the sound of horses’ hooves and see the ghost of Captain Zeti galloping around the castle grounds.

Final Stop: Wine Tasting at a Chianti Classico Winery Finally, we will head to a winery in the Chianti Classico region called Poggio ai Laghi. Here, you will taste a selection of exquisite wines, including a perfect Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan, and other fine wines. At the end of the tasting, we will return to your location.
