1Grand Egyptian Muesum
The Egyption museum was built in 1901 Ad. It is situated in downtown, it is exactly in the middle of Tahrir square.the museum considered as the main icon to show the femous collection of king Tut Ankh Amun. Who became a king of Egypt when he was nine years old. In Cairo Museum tourists can visit the holy room of king tut which contains the golden mask eleven kg of solid gold and the golden coffin of king tut one hundred and fourteen kg of solid gold. The first floor in the museum contains many statues dated back to old kingdom and Middle Kingdom about four thousand five hundred years old. The statue of the scribe and the statue of king Cheops who built the great pyramid in Giza plateau. You will see funeral coffins and many sarcophagi which made of granite five tons each. Then upstairs the throne of king tut and two mummies of yoja and thoya and the Animals mummy room

In Giza plateau there are nine pyramids, Three big pyramids for king Cheops and for king khephren and king mecrynos. Cheops‘pyramid which considers one of the seven wounders of the ancient world. Till now no body knows how it was built.it is 2500 bc.they used two million three hundred thousand stone blocks, each block between two tons till fifteen tons eah. Then you will go to highest point in giza to see all the pyramids together.sphnix is waiting the tourists for four thousand five hundred years. Sphnix is guarding the pyramids, It is 70 m long and 22 m high. The big statue of sphnix with a head of king khephren and the body of loin , which means the semble of power and wisdom.
