We will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy El Fayoum famous sites from Cairo to Fayoum is about 95 km. Today all visits are in Wadi El Ryan, designated as Protected Area in 1989. On the way to Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, visit Mudawara Mountain. Then into Wadi Al Ryan Water Falls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, Wadi Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum. Late Lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant. After that transfer back to Cairo

    Meet your guide at your Cairo hotel, and watch the city give way to orchards and green fields on the trip to Lake Qarun in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Spot some of the stunning birds that thrive at the edge of this salty lake, from black-necked grebes to ibis and flamingos. Continue to the local museum to see stunning examples of Fayoum’s mummy portraits, cloth panel paintings with distinctive Greco-Roman influence. Learn about local history and culture while exploring the museum with your guide, and don’t miss the remarkable collection of statues from regional archeological sites. Visit a local restaurant for an Egyptian-style lunch before heading to Wadi El-Rayan, to see the manmade waterfalls in the middle of the desert.
