An afternoon in the folklore capital of San Martin On this tour to Lamas you will be able to know some of the most important cultural and folkloric attractions of the whole area of Tarapoto. The first stop of the trip will be in the picturesque medieval castle of Lamas, a unique place in the entire Amazon as it is built and set as a fortress in medieval Europe. Then we will know the centennial culture of the Huaycos, descendants of the first settlers of the region. We will visit the indigenous museum and take a tour of the Huayco neighborhood where you can also buy ceramics and handmade products made by the indigenous people themselves. To finish we will move to the main square and the viewpoint of Lamas from where we will say goodbye with a beautiful view of the valley.
