Enjoy breakfast at the Lodge and make an early start on your journey to Murchison Falls National park with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Proceed to Murchison falls and visit the top of the falls – one of the star attractions in the area before proceeding to your lodge where you will unwind for the rest of the evening have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Wake up for early morning breakfast and go for a game drive where you may spot various animal species like Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, and Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction, the unique Murchison Falls and the River Nile with its streaming Hippo and serried ranges of Crocodiles along the sandbanks as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
The forest boasts of a huge diversity of wildlife among which are over287 butterfly species, 24 mammals, over 460 tree species and about 360 types of birds. Here you will be able to explore the ‘Royal Mile” a well maintained road stretch displaying the various tree species and popular for its good bird watching opportunities. The forest also offer amazing primate watching opportunities.
This thundering waterfall comprises of cascading natural rock-formations through which the water forces its way forming a characteristic ‘white foam’ that is very impressive to observe. Because of its prime location, it is a great place to do some sport fishing. The area surrounding this falls is home to various wildlife including monkeys, buffaloes, hartebeests, various antelopes like the Uganda Kobs, lions, giraffes, baboons and birds.
Have breakfast and then drive to Kibale Forest National park – home to the Chimpanzees. This is a full-day game drive with a lunch stop over en route and arriving at the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will go chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is home to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Enjoy morning breakfast in Kibale and transfer to Bwindi National park driving through the famous Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park where you may spot some game including tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi with a lunch stop over arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
You will have an early morning breakfast and report at the park headquarters for a briefing with the park ranger guides. After which you head into the forest for gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This could take 4-8 hours depending on the movements of the Mountain Gorillas. Upon discovering the gentle Mountain Gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these primates which often seem not to mind the visitors’ attention as they go about their daily lives. Return to the starting point where you will meet your driver and he will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Have breakfast and head for Kampala driving across some incredible landscapes, local markets and towns. Enjoy lunch en-route in Mbarara town and proceed to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
