Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you shall be transferred to Hemingways Nairobi. Here you'll spend your night, and be briefed about your safari on various destinations to visit as well as the dos and don’ts of each destination. Later have a good rest before you kick-start your safari.
Leave for Samburu in the early parts of the day by air. A flight to the Southern part of Kenya from Samburu is magical and scenic. You'll appreciate the landscape as you'll fly through various mountain ranges, and great views and scenery as you move from Nairobi to Samburu. The expected arrival time at Samburu will be close to midday where you shall have a short game drive where you might spot Leopard, Tortoise, Impala, Dik-dik, Zebras, Grant gazelle, and Elephants, among others. You shall be spending your nights at the magnificent Sasaab Lodge, with great views and the fact that it is frequented by wild animals. Game Drives are done twice daily.

The biggest highlight of any Mara adventure is the annual wildebeest migration, crossing over from Serengeti into Mara for greener pastures. Such is the abundance of wildlife here that visitors can expect great game viewing at any time of year. You can opt to have your lunch inside the park while on your game drive.
